Whistler Village
The village of Whister has a central area near the ski lifts that's surrounded by various shops, restaurants, bars and night clubs. It's very pedestrian friendly, and easy to get around. It's just like similar villages in Europe. These are pictures taken from different areas to give an idea what it looks like.

This is at the base of the Whistler and Blackcomb lifts. They were setting up the stage for the opening ceremonies of the FIS 2001 World Freestyle Skiing Championships.
