Symphony Bowl, Whistler Mountain

A bunch of us decided to go skiing in the Harmony and Symphony Bowl areas of Whistler Mountain, which are located on the back side. They both provide very nice intermediate ski runs, with a combination of moguls, flats, and rolling terrain.

To reach the Symphony Bowl, you have to go to the top of Little Whister Peak by taking the Harmony Express chairlift. From that point, you take a short trail that brings you into the bowl.

This is the view of the Symphony Bowl, from the top of Little Whistler Peak, on a different day.

This is another view from the top of the bowl, looking over the valley.

Snow was forecasted on this day, and the cloud level was dropping very quickly, causing visibility to become a factor. Eventually, we did get some snowfall that day, along with lots of wind.
