Highway 99 - returning to Vancouver
The journey from Vancouver to Whistler ski resort is about 2 1/2 hours. You drive north on Highway 99 which takes you through some very beautiful coastal territory. On the way back to Vancouver, we were able to take some pictures.


We had some time to go off the highway and go through the nearby community, where bald eagles live. This was the first time I saw one in the wild, and managed to get a couple of shots of one. Apparently this eagle decided to turn it's back and moon us.
