Blackcomb Glacier, Page 2

These are a couple of views looking back to the top of the glacier.

The glacier covers the top half of the valley. When you are approaching the end of the glacier, you have to start skiing on the right side to keep up enough speed for the flat section at the bottom.

The sides of the valley are very steep, and some of them have double black diamond runs.

Once you are at the bottom, you have to double pole a little bit to the start of the Blackcomb Glacier Road, which runs from the bottom of the valley to the Excelerator lift, which is 6 miles from the top of the glacier. From the Excelerator lift, it's another 3 miles to the Blackcomb base in the Whistler village.
