Hill Open Space Preserve is located in the small town Portola Valley, which
is located west of Highway 280 near Palo Alto. I hosted an ACE-
Club hike on April 19 on Easter weekend. I called it the "Walk your dog"
hike because the trails are dog friendly in the sense that you can take your dog
on the trails. We had six humans and one dog, a King Charles Spaniel. It's apparently
the most popular dog in England.
The hike was 8 miles long, with very
nice views. We even got to see San Francisco from the top at Highway 35, also
called Skyline Blvd.
