This is a view of Brokeoff Mountain (left) and Mt. Diller (right)
This is a view of the north side of Mt. Lassen, showing the Devastated Area, located
just above the trees. The eruptions of 1914-1915 caused a massive mud flow to
come down this section of the mountain. It engulfed everything in the area, including
the area where I was standing when taking this shot.
