You can
visit the Mauna Loa Macademia Nut Factory, which is 5 miles south of Hilo. They
weren't in production at the time, as the harvest was in August. They had a huge
orchard of 250,000 trees. You can see the size of the but itself, which is rather
large with a thick shell.
