Washington Capitals

I decided to go to a couple of Washington Capitals ice hockey games, since I was in D.C. On my first day of touring D.C., I went to the game via the Metro system to Chinatown. I ate at a local Chinese restaurant and walked one block to the MCI Center, their new arena.

They let us go down to the ice level while the players were warming up before the game started. Here are some pictures I took. The Boston Bruins were their opponent. The Caps won 2-1.

This is Jaromir Jagr, who came over from the Pittsburgh Penguins. He was in a long goal scoring slump. Although he didn't score against Boston, he scored two the next game against Atlanta.
