Jandel Scientific Software

Jandel Scientific was my first employer out of college. I first started there as a temporary tester in the Quality Assurance Department, testing SigmaStat v1.0 for Windows. I then started working on SigmaPlot v1.02 for Windows. Eventually, a position opened in the Technical Support Department which I took.

I worked there for a total of three years, including one year in the Quality Assurance Department. During my last year, we merged with SPSS, a statistical software company located in Chicago. There was a lot of interesting email and stories that accumulated over that time, and thought I'd share some of it here. It was a lot of fun working there, and I had the opportunity to work with some great people - I really miss it, as we had a company culture that was quite unique.

Note: I did remove the names of people, companies and universities as appropriate to protect the guilty.
